2025 A New Year, A Shared Vision

The New Year is a great time to start fresh and discover new opportunities to make the upcoming year the best one yet. At the World Bladder Cancer Patient Coalition, we are filled with renewed hope, determination, and a shared commitment to making a meaningful difference in the lives of bladder cancer patients and their families worldwide.

This year, we have some suggested resolutions just for you, aimed at making a positive impact on the community of people affected by bladder cancer. It’s a chance to turn a new leaf and contribute in a meaningful way to those facing bladder cancer.

This year, our resolutions focus on driving change through our three core pillars:

Building a stronger community

  • Expand our global network of bladder cancer patient organisations to foster collaboration and support.
  • Create spaces for patients, carers, and advocates to share experiences and learn from one another.
  • Host virtual and in-person events that unite our community and amplify our collective voice.

Raising awareness worldwide

  • Connect with patients to share their stories online, raising awareness and fostering understanding about living with bladder cancer.
  • Launch creative campaigns to raise awareness around the globe and bring bladder cancer into greater focus.
  • Build new partnerships with advocates and organisations to expand awareness and create stronger networks for bladder cancer advocacy.
  • Provide tools and resources that aid healthcare professionals and empower patients in their journey.

Engaging in advocacy

  • Amplify the patient perspective in policy discussions and research priority setting.
  • Advocate for equitable access to patient-centred quality care and advanced treatments.
  • Drive initiatives that enhance the quality of life for all bladder cancer patients and their families.

Ideas for your New Year resolutions

Even the smallest actions can make a big impact. Whether sharing our posts on social media, volunteering your time, or simply starting a conversation, every effort brings us closer to a world where no one faces bladder cancer alone.

As you set your own resolutions for the year ahead, consider how your actions can help us build a stronger, more informed, and more supportive community for those impacted by bladder cancer.
