Get involved in Bladder Cancer Awareness Month!

Bladder Cancer Awareness Month starts today and this year we will spark conversations that raise awareness about the disease by highlighting the symptoms of bladder cancer and overcoming any barriers to seeking medical advice.

This year we launch a new campaign with the motto “Feeling Unsure? Get Checked” to bring attention to the misrepresentation of symptoms and encourage people to re-evaluate their symptoms, as what they thought they saw may actually be something different.

We are thrilled to present the key element of our 2023 campaign – the unsure icon, reflecting the uncertainty around bladder cancer and its timely diagnosis:

There are a number of different ways for you to get involved in Bladder Cancer Awareness Month and help us raise awareness about bladder cancer. Whether you represent a national organisation, a smaller group, or are an individual – Join us!

We invite you to explore our action toolkit where you will find our campaign information and the story behind the Unsure Icon and the many ways to help you make the most out of the campaign.

Also, have a look at our padlet page where we have shared all of our resources:

  • Social media cards with eye-catching visuals, which include bladder cancer symptoms or bladder cancer facts and figures which you can post on your social media.
  • Template messages which you can share with these images online.
  • Posters that can be printed in doctors’ offices

and many more resources..
