WBCPC Annual Report 2022 – Now available

We are thrilled to share with you the World Bladder Cancer Patient Coalition Annual Report 2022. The latest Annual Report showcases the many activities and impact of the organisation throughout the past year.

2022 was our fourth year since our establishment, and we now unite 15 organisations in 11 countries as part of the coalition. Last year, we welcomed four new organisations to our coalition, Leven met blaas- of nierkanker from the Netherlands – BEAT Bladder Cancer Australia, Blåscancerförbundet from Sweden and Singapore Cancer Society. We get inspired daily by seeing our growing community and member organisations’ commitment and drive to support people affected by bladder cancer in their countries.

In 2022 we raised awareness and continued fostering an international bladder cancer community by:

  • Expanding accessibility of resources for people ready to start a bladder cancer patient group in their country with the addition of the Start-up guide for bladder cancer patient groups in Arabic and Turkish languages.
  • Hosting the second World Bladder Cancer Patient Forum. The event brought together the global bladder cancer patient community for the first time in person in Paris, France. This annual event serves as the only international platform for exchanging knowledge, developing new ideas, and fostering collaboration within the global bladder cancer patient community.
  • Launching the new Bladder Cancer Awareness Month campaign with the motto: Don’t Go Red, Go to a Doctor.
  • Expanding our online hub with information on bladder cancer and multilingual informational and advocacy resources, infographics and factsheets to empower our community with the necessary knowledge, guidance, and support.
  • and much more…

«2022 had many significant milestones for the World Bladder Cancer Patient Coalition. Welcoming four new organisations into our coalition and bringing all our members together in person for the first time since WBCPC was established was the biggest highlight. We are grateful for our strong and growing community who commit their energy and time every day to make a difference for people affected by bladder cancer around the world
