Ken Bagshaw steps down from WBCPC Board of Directors

Ken Bagshaw, the founding President of the World Bladder Cancer Patient Coalition (WBCPC), has stepped down from the organisation’s Board of Directors on February 1, 2023. Ken has played a critical role towards the establishment of WBCPC and has actively contributed to the organisation since its launch in 2019.

«As the Founding President, Ken was instrumental to the outstanding progress and growth of our international bladder cancer patient community. We are all thankful for Ken’s devotion to bladder cancer patient advocacy for over a decade, from Canada to around the world. It has been a privilege to serve alongside Ken on the Board of Directors of the World Bladder Cancer Patient Coalition. He has been kind enough to offer his continued guidance, and I will be grateful to call upon him in the years ahead.

Ken Bagshaw, bladder cancer patient and advocate was one of the founding members of the World Bladder Cancer Patient Coalition as a representative of Bladder Cancer Canada. For over 10 years, Ken has contributed to bladder cancer patient support and advocacy through various roles in Canada, including as Chair of Bladder Cancer Canada.

Ken has volunteered his time and experience for over five years towards the mission of the World Bladder Cancer Patient Coalition. Ken has played an integral role in building the organisation, raising awareness, and growing our international patient community committed to improving the lives of people affected by bladder cancer across the globe.
