The World Bladder Cancer Patient Forum 2023 Summary report, which offers a succint reflection on the presentations, discussions and collective ideas shared at the event is now available to download. If you’ve missed the event or would like to revisit the discussions – download the report below.

The 3rd annual World Bladder Cancer Patient Forum 2023 was held in the Spanish capital Madrid. It served as a platform of knowledge and partnership for the global bladder cancer patient community. The Forum brought together people affected by and working with bladder cancer – patients, patient representatives, healthcare professionals, experts, and industry representatives – fostering knowledge sharing and inspiring conversations on addressing some of the most pressing challenges in our patient community worldwide.

This report aims to provide information and highlight key points from the discussions and varied perspectives across the sessions. We also hope it inspires collaboration, increased focus, and new initiatives to support people affected by bladder cancer.

«This year's Forum highlighted the power of collaboration within our community and with our partners. The report captures key discussions and outcomes, guiding our future actions and inspiring others to join us. We are dedicated to amplifying the voices of patients, survivors, and carers, and strengthening bladder cancer patient advocacy globally by supporting and connecting with each other.

Alex Filicevas, Executive Director of the World Bladder Cancer Patient Coalition

Our coalition member organisations have also showcased some of the activities they are leading, many of which are having a positive impact on bladder cancer patients in their countries and communities. As captured in the report, the discussions further highlighted the need for international multi-stakeholder collaboration to achieve the common goal of improving the lives of people affected by bladder cancer around the world.
