Applications open: Bladder Cancer Awareness Month Grants 2025

For the fourth consecutive year, we are delighted to announce the Bladder Cancer Awareness Month (BCAM) Grants for 2025. These grants aim to empower patient organisations, support groups, and advocacy networks in low- and middle-income countries to raise bladder cancer awareness in their communities and beyond.

Bladder cancer affects over 614,000 individuals globally every year. For many, their diagnosis is the first time they have heard of this disease. Bladder cancer is often overlooked, but together, we can ensure it receives the attention it deserves. Join us in making a difference during Bladder Cancer Awareness Month in May 2025!

Key details:
  • 5 BCAM Grants worth up to €800 each (financial and/or in-kind support based on applicant budgets).
  • 7 March 2025 – Deadline to submit your application.
  • 14 March 2025 – Applicants will be notified of the decision.
  • 1-7 May 2025 – Awareness activities must commence during this period.
  • 1 July 2025 – Deadline to submit the impact report.
The programme requires applicants to include:
  1. BCAM 2025 Campaign theme and resources, including social media engagement and participation in the “Spot the Drop” digital game.
  2. Locally relevant awareness activities, such as developing bespoke materials, hosting information sessions, organising fundraising events, sharing patient stories, or writing articles.

Over the past three years, BCAM Grants have supported initiatives in Albania, Argentina, Brazil, Egypt, Ghana, India, Malawi, Nigeria, and South Africa, enabling impactful campaigns and fostering greater community engagement. Be inspired by their stories and join this collective effort to bring bladder cancer awareness to the forefront.

Applications are now open! Submit your proposal by 7 March 2025 and help amplify the voices of those affected by bladder cancer.
