Registrations are open: join us in Hong Kong for the World Bladder Cancer Patient Forum 2026
The World Bladder Cancer Patient Forum returns in 2026, and this year we are bringing the global bladder cancer community together in Hong Kong for a two-day event. On September 21, Advocates Day is a dedicated space for our member organisations to connect, collaborate and strengthen their advocacy. On September 22, Public Day, patients, carers, advocates, healthcare professionals, researchers and policymakers gather for a full day of conversations that matter, where science, lived experience and advocacy meet as equals. Registrations are now open.
Two days to connect, learn and act
Now in its sixth edition, the Forum agenda is built around the lived experience of people affected by bladder cancer and the real-world needs of the patient community. Over two days, participants will dive into topics such as:
- AI tools for patient advocates: a practical introduction
- Health Technology Assessment (HTA) for patient advocates
- Partnerships, collaboration and growing your organisation
- Latest developments in bladder cancer research
- Shared decision-making and the role of carers
- Addressing gaps in support for women with bladder cancer
- Capturing lived experience to shape research and advocacy

Why attend?
Since its first edition, the Forum has been a unique meeting place for the bladder cancer community. Previous events in Paris, Madrid, Punta Cana and, most recently, Brussels (held in 2025 under the patronage of the European Parliament) have shown how connecting patients, experts and advocates can lead to real change. When advocacy is recognised and reinforced, people affected by bladder cancer are more likely to receive coordinated, informed and patient-centred care.
