Bladder Cancer Canada – Hematuria Brochure Now Available
Bladder Cancer Canada has launched a new Hematuria Brochure to help patients and healthcare professionals recognise one of the earliest warning signs of bladder cancer—blood in the urine (hematuria). Developed with input from patients and experts, the brochure delivers a clear message: never ignore blood in your urine. Early detection can save lives.

BEAT Bladder Cancer Australia – One-to-One Peer Support
BEAT Bladder Cancer Australia has introduced a confidential, phone-based peer support service. The programme connects individuals with trained volunteers who have faced bladder cancer themselves, offering understanding, shared experiences, and practical advice. This free service is open to anyone in Australia.

VICARE – Mindfulness, Community and Awareness
In Vicente López, VICARE hosted its first Caminata Consciente Mindfulness walk of 2025, guided by Lic. Nancy Ferro. Patients, families, and friends came together for a moment of reflection in nature. VICARE also took part in Bladder Cancer Awareness Month, sharing key messages online in collaboration with the World Bladder Cancer Patient Coalition.

Fight Bladder Cancer – Taking the Message to Westminster
In May, Fight Bladder Cancer joined Members of Parliament, supporters, and advocates at Westminster to raise political awareness around bladder cancer. On the same day, a co-branded poster campaign with Merck launched at Westminster underground station, reaching up to one million commuters daily with a lifesaving message about early symptoms.

CANVES – First Bladder Cancer Patient Day in Spain
CANVES (La Alianza por el Cáncer de Vejiga en España) held its first-ever bladder cancer patient day at Hospital Clínico San Carlos in Madrid. Patients, caregivers, healthcare professionals, and advocacy leaders gathered for a multidisciplinary discussion on diagnosis, treatment, and life after surgery.

Associazione PaLiNUro – “Fermati al Rosso” Campaign in Rome
Associazione PaLiNUro organised its first “Fermati al Rosso – Open Day” across three hospitals in Rome, giving citizens the opportunity to meet specialists and learn about early signs of bladder cancer. With more than 250 participants and a public stand in central Rome, the campaign reinforced the importance of recognising blood in the urine as a warning sign.
