Dr Stephanie Chisolm succeeds Andrea Maddox – Smith on the Board of Directors

Andrea Maddox-Smith, CEO of the Bladder Cancer Advocacy Network (BCAN), founding member of the World Bladder Cancer Patient Coalition (WBCPC), has stepped down from the organisation’s Board of Directors. Andrea, who served in a role as Vice-President, has actively contributed to the launch and development of the WBCPC ahead of and beyond its launch in 2019.

Dr Stephanie Chisolm will be succeeding Andrea on the WBCPC Board of Directors as a representative of BCAN. Stephanie leads the Education and Advocacy department at BCAN. Stephanie has actively contributed to the establishment of WBCPC. She brings many years of experience as a university professor, a public health educator, and an advocate for patients. Stephanie has also served on the first Board of Directors at the time of the establishment of WBCPC.

Dr Stephanie Chisolm was officially appointed at the WBCPC Board Meeting, which took place on January 20, 2022. Stephanie will serve the remainder of the term of Andrea Maddox-Smith ending on June 13, 2022.
