Get ready for Bladder Cancer Awareness Month 2024!
World Bladder Cancer Awareness Month 2024 (BCAM24) is around the corner, and we are thrilled to share with you this year’s Campaign Toolkit.
This May, we are building on the success of “Feeling Unsure? Get Checked” campaign we launched last year. During Bladder Cancer Awareness Month, we aim to foster engagement and share the important message that drives awareness around speaking to a healthcare professional as soon as possible when spotting blood in the urine, even if feeling unsure.
The key element of our campaign will continue to be the “Unsure Icon”, reflecting the uncertainty around bladder cancer symptoms and its timely diagnosis. In this year’s campaign we also introduce “Spot the Drop”, an engaging online game aimed at highlighting the significance of early detection in a fun and informative manner. We hope that with this game we can engage and reach wider public that we weren’t able to reach before.
This toolkit provides an overview of the campaign and numerous ways for you to get involved and get inspired for local activities. There are simple activities for organisations, individuals, or groups to take part in. You will find all the information you need on using the campaign materials that have been designed to facilitate participation and awareness raising. Whether you have just a couple of minutes or a little longer, it is incredibly easy to get involved in this year’s Bladder Cancer Awareness Month.
The campaign toolkit is available in English and Spanish, and we have a selection of campaign resources, social media messages, posters and more in a variety of languages.
If you would like to participate but require resources in your language, please get in touch with us at info@worldbladdercancer.org
