This November edition of the World Bladder Cancer Patient Coalition newsletter features the latest news from the bladder cancer community around the world. In particular, we focus on:

• The World Bladder Cancer Patient Forum 2023 recording is now available on our YouTube channel if you’ve missed the event and would like to revisit the discussions.
• EU Continence Health Summit 2023 where we joined 20+ scientific, professional, patient and non-profit organisations in signing the Manifesto for policy reform on Continence Health in Europe.
• European Cancer Summit 2023 where WBCPC, Executive Director, Alex Filicevas, joined the engaging panel discussion: “The Next Generation of Cancer Leaders”. He highlighted the significance of incorporating patient perspectives in steering the trajectory of cancer care initiatives and policies; where education and growth of patient advocates to enable their meaningful participation is critical.
• International Caregivers Day where we recognised and celebrated the invaluable contributions of caregivers/carers around the world. They play a crucial role in supporting people affected by bladder cancer.
• Aortic Cancer in Africa Conference 2023 where we joined for the first time the 14th Cancer in Africa conference in Dakar, Senegal to better understand the realities of bladder cancer patient care in the region.
