The World Bladder Cancer Patient Coalition to share the 2025 World Bladder Cancer Patient Forum Summary Report, capturing the key discussions, ideas, and connections that shaped this year’s gathering in Brussels on October 13–14.

Held over two days, the Forum brought together patients, advocates, clinicians, researchers, policymakers, and partners from around the world. Meeting in Brussels, the centre of European health and research policy, strengthened the community’s voice at an important moment for cancer advocacy. The report offers an overview of the themes that defined the event: empowering patient organisations, improving early diagnosis and access to treatment, and shaping policy for fairer, more patient-centred care.

Inside the report, you will find highlights from both Advocates Day and Public Day, including:

  • inspiring initiatives from our global network, from community awareness programmes to peer support and digital storytelling
  • the presentation of theWBCPC Strategy 2030, setting a shared vision for the coming years
  • insights from scientific, policy, and industry experts on early detection, innovation, Health Technology Assessment, and equitable access
  • reflections from Members of the European Parliament, the European Commission, and international partners on strengthening bladder cancer as a health priority

The report also shines a spotlight on the strength of our global community, showing how lived experience, shared evidence, and cross-sector collaboration are driving meaningful progress.

«This year’s Forum showed the power of coming together with purpose. The report brings these discussions to life and offers a roadmap for our community as we work towards better outcomes for everyone affected by bladder cancer.
