Save the Date: World Bladder Cancer Patient Forum 2026 in Hong Kong
We are pleased to announce that the World Bladder Cancer Patient Forum 2026 will take place on September 21–22, in Hong Kong.
Now in its sixth edition, the Forum is the annual meeting point for patient advocates, experts and partners from across the globe. Over two days, participants exchange knowledge, build partnerships and develop ideas that help improve support for people affected by bladder cancer in their own communities.
What does it really take to support someone living with bladder cancer? It takes more than treatment alone.
Patient advocates play a vital role throughout the patient journey. Every day, they work to:
- Empower people with clear, trusted information
- Provide emotional and peer support through shared experience
- Improve communication between patients and healthcare professionals
- Help individuals navigate complex healthcare systems
- Promote care that reflects patient needs and priorities
- Drive progress in policy, access and research
When the role of advocates is recognised and strengthened, people affected by bladder cancer are more likely to receive coordinated, informed and truly patient-centred support.
The Forum creates the environment where this becomes possible. It brings advocates together from around the world to connect, learn from one another and transform shared knowledge into practical action at national and local level.
We are continually inspired by the remarkable advocacy and awareness work led by our member organisations worldwide. The 2026 Forum will be a moment to celebrate this commitment, deepen collaboration and support even greater impact together.
As we prepare for Hong Kong, we invite you to look back at the previous Forum. The conversations and new connections continued well beyond those two days, leading to collaborations, ideas and activities that are still making a difference today. The highlights video offers a glimpse of the energy, exchange and community that participants can expect when we meet again.
More information about the programme and registration will be shared in the coming weeks on our Forum page. We look forward to welcoming the global community to Hong Kong!
