Start or help someone start a bladder cancer patient support group
Make a resolution to start a patient and/or carer support group for people affected by bladder cancer and create a safe, open, and reliable space to share, learn and find comfort. Patient groups play a vital role in the fight against bladder cancer, and you can be part of it. Explore ways how to start your bladder cancer patient group in your local community on our website, and get inspired from ideas and experiences of our members.
You can also help someone to start a bladder cancer patient support group in your country or local community by sharing our Start-up guide for bladder cancer patient groups. This incredible community resource has all the steps to consider for someone starting a patient group. Also, encourage them to get in touch with us, as the World Bladder Cancer Patient Coalition is here to provide support, knowledge and connect them with other bladder cancer patient advocates, patients and carers.
Download our Start-up guide for bladder cancer patient groups which is available in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic and Turkish.
Talk to someone you know about WBCPC
Talk to your community, colleagues or friends about us, and if you know someone affected by bladder cancer guide them our way. Our mission is to make sure that national bladder cancer patient support groups and organisations are strong enough to support people affected by bladder cancer, enhance awareness and advocate for better diagnosis, access and care. We are here to provide guidance, support and a helping hand to aid anyone’s work in their country to make a difference. Find ways to get involved here.
We invite you to join us at our next World Bladder Cancer Patient Forum in 2024 where we will be facilitating connections for the bladder cancer community around the world. In the meantime, you can watch 2023 Forum online to learn from real-world examples of patient support and advocacy from our community.
