Key questions to ask your doctor or nurse: New factsheet now available
We are excited to announce the launch of our latest resource, “Key Questions to Ask Your Doctor or Nurse”, part of our growing series of patient factsheets. This factsheet is designed to empower bladder cancer patients and their loved ones by providing some essential questions to discuss with healthcare professionals about diagnosis and prognosis.
This resource is intended to:
- Support patients in understanding their bladder cancer diagnosis and prognosis
- Encourage meaningful discussions about treatment options and next steps and serve as a conversation aid for healthcare professionals having conversations with their patients recently diagnosed with bladder cancer.
- Provide guidance on accessing support networks and resources for carers and loved ones
Bladder cancer can feel overwhelming, especially when hearing about the disease for the first time at diagnosis. This factsheet serves as a helpful conversation guide, making it easier to navigate the information and decisions that come with a bladder cancer diagnosis.
We encourage healthcare profesionals to share this resource with patients as a tool for building understanding and trust during consultations. The factsheet is available in both print and digital formats in English and Spanish, making it accessible for patients and carers worldwide.
You can download the factsheet and explore additional resources on our resources page on our website.
