The second World Bladder Cancer Patient Forum 2022 brought the global bladder cancer community together in person for the first time. Over the 2 hours, we discussed taking the voice of bladder cancer patients forward.

Experts from diverse backgrounds shared their perspectives and ideas on how we can work together to improve the quality of life and outcomes for people affected by bladder cancer.

There was a broad consensus for greater multi-stakeholder collaboration, strengthening patient organisations, and using bladder cancer patient survey findings to improve the lives of people affected by bladder cancer.

To reinforce our continued commitment to fostering our community and improving bladder cancer patient care around the world, we have developed a Start-up guide for bladder cancer patient groups. This resource, available in 6 languages, is a helping hand for patient advocates looking to start a bladder cancer patient support or advocacy organisation in their community.
