WBCPC Executive Director Alex Filicevas nominated candidate for UICC’s Board of Directors

The World Bladder Cancer Patient Coalition is delighted to announce that our Executive Director, Alex Filicevas is nominated as candidate for the UICC’s Board of Directors.

The Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) shown years of impactful change around the world in cancer control. Alex Filicevas would be honoured to represent the bladder cancer patient and wider community and serve the UICC on its Board of Directors:

Union for International Cancer Control is dedicated to taking the lead in convening, capacity building and advocacy initiatives that unite and support the cancer community to reduce the global cancer burden, promote greater equity, and to ensure cancer control continues to be a priority in the world health and development agenda.

Full member organisations will elect the members of the UICC Board of Directors and the President-elect for the next two years (2022 – 2024) at UICC General Assembly on 11 October, 2022.
