The Global Cancer Coalitions Network (GCCN) is hosting a free virtual event on March 29, at 17:00 CEST, titled “Coalition Connection 3: Sustaining Patient Advocacy Post-Covid”.

Many patient advocacy organizations faced extraordinary challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic, from loss of crucial funding to significant reductions in human resources, both paid and unpaid.

As we look to a post-pandemic future, during the GCCN event you will hear three perspectives from:

• The advocacy world on how patient advocacy organizations coped with those challenges and what ‘silver linings’ they found;
• How out of the box thinking was adopted in the face of this global health crisis;
• What can be taken away as lessons learned as we transition to the new ‘new normal’.
