WBCPC President Dr Lydia Makaroff joins the EAU Patient Office Board

WBCPC is proud to announce that our President has joined the newly established EAU Patient Office Board. Its mission is to ensure that patients remain at the centre of all activities and decisions.

I am honoured to be invited to join the European Association of Urology Patient Office as a Board Member. The European Association of Urology has made great strides to more actively involve patient representatives in their work. My main focus within the Patient Office Board will be to foster collaborations between the Patient Office and the European Patient Advisory Group, and to ensure that patients remain at the centre of all activities and decisions.

All.Can launches “Building efficiency in cancer care” policy blueprint

All.Can International launches its new policy blueprint which offers a common and broadly applicable framework to support collaborative policy action to improve efficiency in cancer care. 

Organisational frameworks, data systems, policies and incentives should be aligned towards efficient care, with appropriate resources dedicated to building efficiency in view of the burden and impact of cancer on people affected by cancer and the society.

Dr Stephanie Chisolm succeeds Andrea Maddox – Smith on the Board of Directors

Andrea Maddox-Smith has stepped down from the World Bladder Cancer Patient Coalition’s Board of Directors. Dr Stephanie Chisolm will be succeeding her as a representative of the Bladder Cancer Advocacy Network (BCAN).

I’m delighted and honoured to join the World Bladder Cancer Patient Coalition Board of Directors and continue to build on the great contributions of Andrea Maddox-Smith. As a representative of WBCPC founding member, Bladder Cancer Advocacy Network (BCAN), I remain committed to the mission of improving the lives of bladder cancer patients around the globe.
