WBCPC respalda el Código Europeo de Práctica del Cáncer
“The World Bladder Cancer Patient Coalition is proud to endorse the European Code of Cancer Practice (The Code). Launched recently by the European Cancer Organisation, The Code is a citizen and patient-centred statement of core requirements for good clinical cancer practice, to improve outcomes for all of Europe’s cancer patients.
The Code sets out ten key overarching rights, signposting what patients should expect from their health system, for them to achieve the best possible outcomes. It has been co-produced by a team of cancer patients, patient advocates and cancer professionals.
«We are proud to endorse The Code, which will create a pathway to achieve the very best standards for cancer care in Europe and empower bladder cancer patients with knowledge about their rights across all stages of their cancer journey.
Alex Filicevas, Executive Director, World Bladder Cancer Patient Coalition
The European Code of Cancer Practice is translated into 24 European languages . You can download The Code alongside other related resources on the European Cancer Organisation website.
