VICARE joins WBCPC community

WBCPC welcomes a new member organisation to our international coalition – VICARE, which supports people affected by bladder cancer in Argentina.

“ Becoming a member of the World Bladder Cancer Patient Coalition means joining a unique force for positive change. As the sole kidney and bladder cancer association in Argentina, VICARE has a crucial role in leading advocacy, awareness, specialised support, regional collaboration, and research promotion. WBCPC membership empowers pioneering efforts that directly impact patients and their families, establishing VICARE as a pivotal force in transforming kidney and bladder cancer care in the region.

Raising bladder cancer awareness in Egypt

Mansoura University Safety Society, BCAM Grant awardee raised awareness in Egypt by conducting surveys, providing the public with educational leaflets, doing collaboration with experts during Bladder Cancer Awareness Month 2023. 

“ Bladder cancer is very common in Egypt and there is very low awareness about this disease as we tend to diagnose it at late stages. We urge the population to learn more and the signs and symptoms and to get checked if they experience any of them.
